Welcome to RGV Aerial Photography’s website!
On the top right, you’ll find the buttons to navigate to the four main functions of our website. Going from left to right, the “Flyover Videos” button takes you to a list of - you guessed it - our weekly Starbase Flyover Update videos.
The “Weekly Streams” button will take you to a list of our Starbase Weekly livestreams. Fairly simple.
Now for the Starbase Aerial Archive, the crown jewel of this website. Pressing the “Photo Archive” button will lead you to our archive of hundreds of aerial photos. As of June 1st, the 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 archives have been populated and 2023 is in progress. 2024 will have their respective images added shortly.
Once at the Starbase Aerial Archive page, you can click the “Start Exploring” button to view aerial images sorted by year. Once you click into a year, you can sort by various subjects (eg. Build Site, SN9, SN10 etc). Alternatively, you can sort by subject and totally ignore the year by clicking the “Sort by Subject” button rather than clicking the year.
Once you come across an interesting image, you will have an option to "Download", download in "Full Res", or link the image. Please note that downloading in full, 4k resolution is only available for patreon supporters. There is also a link icon which will copy the link to the image in your clipboard.
Lastly, the “Articles” button will open our list of analysis articles about all things SpaceX and Starbase. Currently, as of the launch of this website, we have an in-depth article titled “December 2023 in Starship Development History”. In addition, we have started an article series “Starbase Explained”, with the first site, Massey’s.
Note: As this archive is public, the selection of photos will be limited and their quality decreased to reduce strain on our web-hosting server and to not diminish the Patreon experience for our supporters. If you like what you see, consider subscribing to Patreon to gain access to up-to-date, full quality galleries.
Speaking of Patreons, those who are in our patreon-only chats in the discord server can link their account using discord to view early access articles. Click the yellow “supporters” button on the top right and follow the instructions to connect your Discord account.
